New Zealand retirement village operators are internationally-recognised as being world leaders in this sector and the industry is rapidly-growing, with approximately 5,000 dwellings either undergoing consent or in construction around the country. Delegates on this Inaugural DCM Institute study program will visit a mix of NZ's retirement villages and co-located care facilities in Auckland and Tauranga. The program will commence in Auckland with RVA's Executive Director John Collyns providing an overview of the NZ Retirement Village industry. This will set the scene for the weeks program where you will visit some of NZ's more innovative retirement living and aged care organisations. The tour will provide a wonderful opportunity to network with your peers.
